COD4 was awesome. One of the best multiplayer modern combat sims out. I was a big fan of BF2, but call of duty puts it to shame.

Guess I'm going to have to buy a new 360 to play MW2. Since they screwed the PC gamers.

I did play it on 360 it was fun. So I will be buying another 360 for this game and streaming netflix

I bought it for 360 since most of my friends have one. I'd prefer my FPS games on the PC but not after they CONSOLED the game.

Did you really compare one of the worst reviewed shovelware games of the last 2 years to the fastest-grossing entertainment property of all time?

Ummm... terrible games that have no chance at selling at a normal price point are the ones that are 20 dollars cheaper on amazon. Those, and games that have been out for 2 years.
But quality video games dont drop in price until a sequel is around the corner or its been a few years. The first Modern Warfare game is still $40 new for consoles. Even the non-InfinityWard developed 'Call of Duty: World At War' is $50 for a used console copy.

Modern Warfare 2 is going to be full price ($60 for consoles, $50 for PC's) until Infinity Ward releases Modern Warfare 3 in two or three years.

truth. much truth in this statement.
they really ruined MW2 for PC users. I mean truly, epically ruined it.

But for console gamers, it's the best game ever.

Funny how that works out?

I'm playing it on Xbox 360. I miss my mouse and keyboard, but not enough to ruin my absolute enjoyment of this game.

So true, I've been waiting for Fallout 3 to drop in price forever. It didn't until the GOTY edition came out recently.

Seriously,

Check out Goozex for trading games. 100 times better value than Gamestop.

Have you played the new Wolfenstein? Seriously. Some of the worse reviewed games have turned out to be the most fun. Sure I love the detail and shading in a hugely reviewed game, but I also love booting up a game in 20 seconds as opposed to 3 minutes. I love playing a game at high detail, as opposed to futzing with the video and sound options in order to keep it from crashing every 10 minutes or getting framerates at anything below 30.

I've played Bioshock, Farcry (1 & 2), Fallout 3, the HalfLife series, Medal of Honor and the Call of Duty series and a bunch of the other titles that have earned 8, 9 or 10 points on Gamespot or some other site. But there's a lot to be said for just going in, blowing stuff up and shooting the heck out of a bunch of Nazis.

So yeah, I don't put too much stock in some of these snooty reviewers who are probably getting huge kickbacks from the producers to rate their titles higher than they should be.

I don't get a chance to play many games and I don't normally play these types of games, but I'm going to pick this one up for the PS3. The demo looked pretty cool.

By the way Toys R Us has a deal starting next week. $20 off any game over $40. I'm not sure if they give $20 off or a gift card.

No need to defend the game. My point was Wolfenstein was a flop, critically and sales wise. That's why its $20 off. I was simply trying to say theres no way *this* particular game is going to get the discount-bin treatment of a flop video game that's $20 off 4 months after release.

I like the new modern warfare, but in terms of realism, BF2 is king, and its been out since what, 2005? The COD series is more arcade/action games to me, cool story lines, characters, crazy explosions, etc. BF2 is a hundred times more realistic though (I'm referring to PC version, never played 360 version).

I think its just the opposite. COD4 weapons are much more damaging, you need to use cover to survive. BF2 is a heck of a game but the vehicles are too overpowering. Most of the time you have people killing each other just to get to the tank, and if they don't get it first they will blow you up.

I like deathmatch mode better than team mode anyway, so I guess thats why I really prefer COD4. I can crawl into a hole or sit in a window with a big field of fire and kill anything that moves. BF2 is only good with FF on and a server that kicks buttheads.
