Default IPOD Question

I have an IPOD "Touch (32)" that works via USB connector in my car (center console) and allows me to regulate song and volume by the car radio (2009 Honda) without all those cords or FM transmitter devices. It is a direct hook up.

Question 1: My daughter car: She has same USB jack (same car as mine - different colors).

Will the IPOD "Classic" rather then the IPOD "Touch" provide the same radio control with the USB in her car. I need to buy Her a present for her birthday and she wants music and photo's only.

Does anyone have the classic and what is the preference of most buyers: The classic or the IPOD touch?

Thanks

The IPOD Classic and Touch both have the same connection and thus both will work through your radio. I purchased an IPOD Classic vs the Touch because my Classic gives me 120GB to store music, photos, videos, etc. and the Touch would only give me 32GB max. I have almost 40 gigs of music and I still havent converted it all yet. To me, the music was more important than the apps.

I purchased the 160GB IPOD Classic for my daughter last night.

To be honest, I am not satisfied with the 32 GB touch I have but it is too late to return.

Thanks for the input.

I bought a 30 gig classic used on ebay just to keep in my 2008 Honda.......

picked it up for $65 and it was the right size for all my music .......

I choose a seperate, older iPod for the car because I don't want to keep any of our newer ipods in the car and got tired of taking them in an out all the time ......

the jack in the 2008 Honda's are in the armrest / center console as well so you can keep them out of site.......

My 2009 Honda has the USB in the arm rest console also. I really like that feature and it works well with the radio controls.
