I am with you on this, it was ridiculous what she was doing, but if I was the opposing coach I would have had pay back some how.

it was ridiculous. She deserves a serious suspension. They should not revoke her scholarship though.. She will learn from this. She deserves a second chance. And only a second chance. This is not much different than the boys fights on field/off field, it just that she was bullying. Plus there have been worse things that revenus sports college players have done, and they received second chances.

its great though. I wish they could create a hybrid sport as an offshoot to this!

NO. It is NOT the same as when boys fight on the field. Did you watch the same video? Whiplashing a girl to the ground by her ponytail? Clawing at a girls face when she is running full speed? Tripping? That was malicious. That girl is mentally unstable.

If you read several of the stories published on this, and not just the ESPN sensationalist crap, you realize that while somewhat excessive on the part of New Mexico, the cheap shots were going both ways. Eyewitness accounts said that BYU was cheap shotting New Mexico State most of the game and the refs weren't doing anything. ESPN does show the one clip where the girl elbows the NMSU player and the player retaliates with a punch to the back. Apparently that was going on all game. The Refs should be fired for allowing the game to get to that point. Nobody was right in this but the refs are ultimately the ones that need to keep order.

If it was just one thing...

But she punched a girl in the back, took a few girls down, ripped that girl down by her hair... it was several different incidents at different times and with different circumstances!

At least with Haynesworth his one horrible incident was isolated and could be considered a lapse in judgment.

Apparently her judgment is that opposing players need to be brutally murdered.

Just one minor prob with your post: it was not New Mexico State, but New Mexico. BYU and New Mexico are in the Mountain West; New Mexico State is in the WAC.

TheJoeFlaccoShow:

"Couple of those BYU chicks weren't half bad looking either."

Be careful here. probably half of those girls are married.

Can the Capitals get her for defense or as an enforcer? She can replace Brashear.

The one girl was caught on camera doing the damage, I'm sure even if the other team did do something it wasn't as sickening as what this girl was doing. The girl probably elbows the other because she was probably sick of her trying to bully. The girl is sick and needs mental help.

Personal biased judgements? I guess your blind to what happened huh? Your just as bad as her if you see nothing wrong with this.
