You're last statement is ridiculous, of course we don't want anyone to be raped...but putting more guns on the streets is equally ridiculous.

there are so many illegal guns already on the street that one more isn't going to make a difference. any criminal that wants a gun can find one any day of the week. however one less rapist scum on the street benefits us all.
i really do wonder why so many of you actively choose to make us all defenseless in the face of criminals.
btw have they released a basic description of the perp so other women can protect themselves or are they still withholding the description bc they are blinded by liberal retardation.

Also please include DE, WI, and CA, where open carry is allowed without a lisc ( but CC is may-issue), as well as county by county in those may-issue states that have some counties with pro gun sheriffs/police cheifs who issue concealed lisc's pretty much shall-issue. These include a number of counties in CA, and some in MA.
Are you saying women are stupid? If a woman has decided to carry a gun for protection, she has also decided she is capable of using deadly force if needed. In fact MORE women should be carrying, but don't. The reason is they are scared of guns via anti gun indoctrination. People like YOU create this indoctrination. So shame on you x 2!

I can probably cite some stories from baltimore about the female officer who was disarmed twice, but I don't feel it necessary. Men can be disarmed the same.
I'm not trying to get into the firearm debate, I support those who choose to carry and think it is a constitutional right, that's the basis, but you guys take it to different levels and bring your point across in an arrogant manner as guns will solve all crime and prevent all. It's a constitutional matter, not a self-defense matter.

19 yr old victim and then a 55 yr old victim. seems like this dude has some extended issues beyond just being a rapist. ive never understood why anyone would rape an old woman. whether it is for sex or for power it just seems very weird.

Funny how the places that allow you to carry weapons don't have this problem.

A female cop, is that all you have? Was she making an arrest and the suspect got her gun? That is a different situation than a non LEO armed citizen. Criminals don't want to go to jail, but they want even less to be shot at by an armed citizen. I've read stories of self defense where the criminal turns into a wimpering sack with an old lady pointing a gun at them. In most the criminal sees the gun, is like " ohhhhh sheeet!" and runs off.
Arrogant manner? Angry maybe, PMS-ing perhaps, but for the love of gawd, give those of us who wish to have a chance to have the means to do so! Guns will not solve all criminal attack problems, but utilizing one for self defense certainly helps! I feel so much more secure when I am wearing "heat" on my hip at home or when I go to PA. Just like I know that if I am in a bad accident, the airbags in my vehicle will be better than having no airbags at all. Oh and I wear my seatbelt too. Not 100% but better than no seat belt and no airbags.
Yes it is constitutonal, but the founders based it on inalienable RIGHTS, something every animal is born with, including the human animal. We are tool users, therefore as adults we have the natural RIGHT to use our brain and the proper tools should we need to protect our life, the life of a loved one, and the life of our children. Other animals have claws and fangs and whatnot.
So yes, it IS also a self defense matter! ( and dangit I am in touch with my inner animal, so I AM also mentally prepared to defend myself).

From the television report I saw, he has a piece of broken glass. It's prob'ly hard to draw a gun when someone already has a blade against your throat.
What surprised me was the response of two women interviewed. One claimed she carried mace, so she'd have no problem. Another said she carried a knife in her pocket. Both claimed they'd be totally safe, street smarts, and all that.
Ummm... ladies who ride the bus: you have been informed that a serial rapist is preying on women at bus stops. Perhaps, it would be wise to go in pairs, whenever possible, until he's caught? (There's a REASON women go to public rest-rooms with friends.) Also, that knife better be IN YOUR HAND, not in your pocket, at the bus stop.
Of course, a firearm in the hand would likely cause him to look for an easier victim, right quick. For a fun read, try Armed and Female by Paxton Quigley.

Sorry DRoc but the ladies who want the responsibility of carrying a firearm are perfectly capable of using it properly if needed.
I can think of none more deserving of hot lead in the arse than rapists. I can think of none more obliging to deliver that "care package" than females.
I hope they find him squished under the tires of an MTA bus being driven by a female.

Your statement is ridiculous...how could the attacker overpower someone after being shot in the chest?
Putting more guns in the hands of the good guys is a smart move
"That gun will get taken from you.."
"You cant ourdraw the bad guy"...
Heard both of these today from soem democrat I work with. People, the gun doesnt get taken from you. Show me the links. And..you dont have to outdraw the bad guy. If you are waiting at a bus stop...have your hand on your gun..problem solved.
You anti-gunning scardee-cats slay me.

Yes. Ladies are on the look out for "freaky" men in the public toilets and stolen handbags, etc.
Keep in mind crime is a slave of opportunity.

If a "freaky" man is ever in any lady's restroom I am in while I am in PA, he best watch himself and leave the restroom. Unless he enjoys sucking chest wounds or needs a 3rd eye.

They've been working hard on this case for weeks. Some of the detectives have not slept in days. Say a prayer that this animal is caught soon.
