The site may be good for news but as soon as you offer an opinion the admins will shut you down and close the thread. They dont allow any free flowing discussion. It is a site for those in control and if you differ in any way from their "rules" they will close the thread and ban the poster. |

but my point, ie. the fact, is it doesn't matter if the players "care" in non-revenue title ix...it's what the skool wants cuz the players...their "happiness"...their "success"...or lack of...brings nothing. the skool holds the cards...title ix is a welfare program...the gals can take it or leave it. the only way the skool makes any money is to minimize g&a...pay a cutie with no family strings 20k as opposed to a mom 45k...stuff like that.
i know..i know...the romantics here, like the purplemen above (not fcowher), believe the world is truly not about money...their voices raised in song...touching... |

I've noticed Laxpower is a bit tight on rumors and hearsay, even if its legitimate.
I think most people just can't stand the places that are filled with Trolls.
The Inside Lacrosse forums are annoying. In there you have a bunch of middle school kids coming in, spouting off, making threats, or simply trying to provoke people.
But I guess you'll have those type of immature people at just about ANY site... |

the way i see it my dear purpleromantic is that fcowher's thread sat for two weex before i provided factual input, then it roared to life...and like, i didn't ruin the thread with personal insults, or off-topic hypocritical commentary on other forums. another thing my dear purpleromantic, i notice u keep checking my personal profile...some 'ignore', huh? did i say sumthin' about hypocrisy in this post already?

I'm looking forward to UMBC having a tremendous season. They are going to be so much improved this year. I think Kelly Berger and Co. can challenge for a league title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. There's a lot of great things happening in Catonsville......

The UMBC men's soccer team is playing for a conference championship Sunday, the men's BB team went to the NCAAs two seasons ago, the women's BB team did it the year before that, and then there's the whole lax thing. Oh, and don't me started on the chess team...
