Broadneck really came out swinging tonight. 4a east is hands down the best region right now. I hope The winner gets it done this year

Default Dundalk 42, Owings Mills 6

Tavon Henley rushed for three touchdowns, Alvin Thomas throws a TD pass and runs for a score. Owls led 20-0 in second quarter, 28-6 at the half, and running clock for entire fourth quarter.

I believe the ball is now in City's court.

No 41-14. Annapolis played well but NC shot themselves in the foot time and time again. NC had first punt blocked which led to ANN score and followed up with a fumble and a pick which led to two more ANN scores to make it 21-0. NC score a TD and forced a fumble and it looked like they were going to make a game of it before they fumbled gain on the next play and ANN took over. Annapolis played well and looked like a team that had to win to make the playoff's.

Sorry to see Broadneck get shut out of playoff's but Annapolis is deserving. Darn North Point. NC had a successful season at 6-4 considering all that they lost from last years team.

I'm going to miss those games on Friday's.

Franklin 14
Kenwood 6

Franklin did not play well although I don't think they had much to play for tonight....Already locked up a playoff seed and I think even a home game for sure with this win

Hereford 28, Perry Hall 8

The Bulls put it to the Gators tonight. Hereford led 14-0 at halftime, and 28-0 after three quarters. The score could have been much more lopsided if the Bulls hadn't dropped every pass and interception they got their hands on. The lone PH TD came in the latter stages of the 4th quarter against the Hereford backups.

With this win, Hereford clinched the #1 seed in the 3A North Region. And it was nice to see Vinnie DePaola back in action for the Bulls for the first time since his injury against North Harford in Week 1.

Kenwood has played really well down the stretch. Beating Milford and taking both Woodlawn and Franklin down to the wire these last 2 weeks shows that Kenwood is heading in the right direction.

And that would matter if it was Dundalk that City had to beat to make the playoffs. However, since City must beat Poly, it's irrelevant. Do try to keep up, will you?

Yes it was good to see the youngest DePaula back on the field and healthy. Congrats to Hereford and good luck in the playoffs

Default Fort Hill 17 - Allegany 7

Fort Hill gave Allegany great field position all day, but Allegany could only score after a short drive that came after an interception in the first half.

Fort Hill's defense proved its worth once again as it only allowed about 60 rushing yards. Allegany ran the "Wildcat" offense at the Sentinels with very little success.

Fort Hill's offense struggled somewhat today (190 rushing yards and about 60 yards passing), but that is a credit to the defensive effort of Allegany.

There is little doubt these two teams will meet again in two weeks to determine the 1A West title.

FH 17 Alco 7. Great defensive effort by the Sentinels giving up only 58 yds of rushing to Alco's 2 STUD RBs and only 117 overall!!! FH was limited by horrible field position and not being able to establish the FB out of the Wing-T. The tale of the game was 2 big plays by FH a 40 couple run by FH's FB Dakota Welch and and 54 yd run by FH's Sam Walker. When FH couldn't really establish the FB out of the Wing T, they switched to the I-formation and Walker found some nice seams to get the final TD of the day. TOs (5 of them FH recovered 4) also hurt Alco all day as well. 3 fumbles (2 FH recovered) and 2 ints.

Kudos to BOTH teams, Alco came out with ALOT of heart today, but FH played flat today!! FH's QB had one of his, if not his worse game of the year today and FH did not adjust at all to Alco's defensive line. It was ugly, but this game is NEVER sexy and FH came away with the win. These two teams WILL be playing again in 2 weeks and I truly expect a similar outcome with FH working out the kinks and winning by 2 tds this time.
