I never thought of that before..interesting idea and I think it's accurate. It's an ego/power thing for them and though they may not be "afraid" to die, the fact that it is not their own choice is what bothers them.

I do not see anything that says he or any of the others are afraid to die.

And I would expect that they are concerned about being killed but they are only mortal human beings and nothing else.

And I hope you do not see some fear based on filing their legal appeals to the higher Courts because that is absurd.

And it is my understanding that Mr Muhammad asked for the appeals to be stopped and his case is being appealed against his wishes by lawyers that say there is evidence that Mr Muhammad is severely mentally incompetent.

I certainly do not believe the Man is up there being afraid of dying.

We don't have to cheer. But justice will be served. What everyone who is against the death penalty is forgetting is that Mr. Muhammad had a choice in whether he dies at the hand of the state or not. Had he never committed his crimes, he would not die. His victims, plain innocent people doing everyday normal activities, had no choice. He was the judge and carried out the execution. I will not cheer his death, but I will not shed a tear over it either. He willingly took the lives of innocent people.....by doing so, he has forfeited his right to life. In 4 days, justice will be served.

Instead of figuring the intent of the law - here is the intent of the crime.

McVeigh was the one that did the crime as was Lee Boyd Malvo in the sniper case, and Mr Muhammad did not do the killing like Terry Nichols did not do the killing.

Two big cases with two very opposite standards and opposite executions.

The white Nichols lives and the black Muhammad dies.

That is what history will dictate.
