Default Richie Sexson Charges the Mound!!

All 6'8'' and 240 pounds. I wouldn't wanna be the Pitcher. See below: (Sexson hits Pitcher in the back with his helmet as he approaches the Mound)(See Milton Bradley play peacemaker!) (What a milling mass of oh, the humanity!)

http://www.redlasso.com/ClipPlayer.a...9-6269840f8c86 - This isn't the right one.

Try this: You will have to scroll down a little bit for it.

I saw the play a few times and I didn't think the pitch was close to the head . The pitch was high but not close enough to the head to start a brawl over .

Overreacted !!!

Huge men playing a game for millions of dollars and they get pissed off when someone threathens their livelyhood. I guess Travis wouldn't approve. Bottom line is this; If I'm making 3 million cause I'm a good hitter and a pitcher comes to close to my head with a fastball we will have a meeting at the mound. And I doubt we'll dinner arrangements. But Sexson did overreact and did admit it.

I agree it wasn’t close but things where already a little heated and I think Sexson was just looking for an excuse to start something!!

The pitch was right down the middle. On top of that, he needs to talk to his own pitcher who plunked two batters.

Not an excuse, but I think it was SportsCenter last night that mentioned that Sexson had been up the night before with his 2-year-old at the hospital. They didn't go into details of the child's illness. Lack of sleep can make you very edgy and, like Joe said, maybe he was taking his frustration out on the pitcher.

The only thing Sexon hit all year is Gabbard with his batting helmet. Batting .202 on the season and .063 in his last 7 games isn't exactly a slugger. The pitch was nowhere near him. Chicken shi* move IMO.

I remember when people took me to task for saying Sexson was done at the end of last year. Looks like line drive percentage and hr/fly are good things to look at.

He is so tall. I would have gone low under him at the knees and turned him upside down.

What a twit.

dude...the way you pat yourself on the back and constantly hawk your blog sickens me.

Sexson has been done for some time, and you never needed to look at those particulars to know it.
