10 years I spent in the motor trade buying and selling jam jars, I never had a sale as easy as that...

I made my downpayment on my recent new car purchase with my credit card. I was able to write a check on the spot but if they were willing to accept the card and pay the credit card percentage then I wanted the points on my rewards card.

Put the new roof, new kitchen, deck and lots of large purchases through the card even though I was able to pay with cash. Just pay the card off when it comes due.

Makes no sense to pay with cash and not get the rewards points unless they are giving a cash discount.

(agree that if she is financing the car on a credit card that is crazy)

I never charge more than I can afford to pay the balance back to zero within 30 days. I was just thinking the car probably cost a few grand, at least. Either that lady has a lot of cabbage on hand or she isn't very smart money wise.

A good heart is the most important thing.

I hope her new car runs well and doesn't turn out to be a piece of junk. I also hope the car comes with a 30 day warranty, at least.

What did she do with her old car?
