I would agree with that...hopefully as he ages and gains more experience on the pitch he will pass above them but only time will tell

Have you had the chance to visit the Emirates? It is quite a stadium...I was there back in December of 2007 for work and took the tour of the stadium. I was like a kid in the candy store that day. I wish i could go back in a heartbeat.

Next Summer,at the World Cup,Xavi and Iniesta will be selling him on the joys of playing for Barca.

Your kiddie corps takes on Liverpool, tonight,in the Carling/Littlewoods/Milk/League cup last sixteen.Samir Nasri is set to make his first start of the season ;and Alberto Aquilani could make his reds' debut.

It's not a competition that means a great deal,prestige-wise,but this could be a tie worth watching...

Oh I don't even want to read all the papers next summer during transfer season...it will be out of control.

Today's match would be great to watch...IF...they actually put it on TV! I can only find that they are showing it on ESPN360. I hope our youngsters go out and give them a run for their money.

Come on you Gunners!

You can't expect the TV companies to take the competition seriously and show it live if the prima donna teams don't take it seriously, and they only put out weakened sides.

I think this cup is a great chance for the youngsters on each of the "Big 4" to show what they can do. Looks like Chelsea put out a strong side yesterday. Kalou, Malouda, Deco & Drogba on the score sheet for them. Not many 1st team players on the Arsenal or Liverpool side.

I know what you are saying though...I would love if someone would just do a straight Sky Sports feed here to the US. I would buy that channel in a second.

The problem with your line of thinking is that the ticket prices aren't that much cheaper at the gates. These days you can easily pay better than £50.00 to not see your favourite stars. While that may be acceptable to the Chelsea/Arsenal/Liverpool supporter, it isn't very nice for the Chesterfield or Southend fan that goes along week in and week out in all weathers, shelling out big money to see a bunch of (albeit very good) kids.

Good point...since I have never been to a match over there I don't know how crazy the ticket prices can be. I guess the FA Cup is the better cup to pay money for because the teams actually put out a decent side on the pitch. I was hoping S****horpe was going to pull off the upset over Man City Have to root for the underdogs!

Chelsea's 1-0 win against Manchester United today opened up a 5 point lead against joint second placed Man U and Arsenal but Arsenal do have a game in hand... Things aren't looking too good for Man U just about now. Early days I know but Man U have now lost 3 games this early in the season, that is definitely not the stuff of championship contenders.

God forbid a game goes by where Sir Alex doesn't cry about the refs.

Joint second,Wizard ?

Now,you know we don't have 'joint' anythings in our league.

Tell it like it is : they are third...

It seems such a weaker league, this season.

Or more competitive, depending on your viewpoint.

It's Chelsea's for the taking ;but they will lose Drogba,Essien,Kalou and Obi-Wan Kanobi,or whatever he's called, for a month in January.

I haven't seen a United team,with such a lack of flair,for many years.

Not that it pains me at all...

I was pulling for a 0-0 draw to say 3 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand but what can you do. I hope we can take some points away from this game for when we play Chelski on the 29th.

International friendlies,eh ?

You're going to have to do without your talismanic Dutchman until after Christmas.

Still, they'll be missing fat Frankie when the teams meet ;as long as Bendtner is still out injured, you'll have a chance at getting something...

Now we have Gibbs out too but we have a good amount of Left Backs on our bench...just time for them to step up. With this placenta fluid treatment RVP is getting he will be back in no time! And I hope you are right about our chances with Chelsea. We need to shut down Drogba and prevent him from flopping around the pitch like a fish out of water to try and get a penalty.
