From June 2008: As I was mayor and Pastor Muthee was here and he was praying over me, and you know how he speaks and he’s so bold. And he was praying Lord make a way, Lord make a way. And I’m thinking, this guy’s really bold, he doesn’t even know what I’m going to do, he doesn’t know what my plans are. And he’s praying not “oh Lord if it be your will may she become governor,” no, he just prayed for it. He said “Lord make a way and let her do this next step. And that’s exactly what happened.” So, again, very very powerful, coming from this church, so that was awesome about Pastor Muthee.

Pastor Thomas Muthee is an African evangelist who casts out witches. Then some Doomsday guy talks about the end of times.

But there was some things about the natural resources, about the state, there are some things that God wants to tap in to to be a refuge for the lower 48 and I believe Alaska is one of the refuge states, c'mon you guys, in the last days, and hundreds of thousands of people are going to come to the state to seek refuge and the church has to be ready to minister to them.

In perhaps one of the strangest twists to date in the story of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a video now shows the governor crediting her electoral success to a preacher who claims to successfully hunt witches. The speech, shown below, was filmed in June. Palin describes the visit of Pastor Thomas Muthee to the Wasilla Assembly of God in 2005.

Palin's speech accompanied the Wasilla Assembly of God's Masters' Commission, which the church's pastor said will allow Alaska to become a refuge for American evangelicals during the coming "end of days" -- or Armageddon.

I would like to know what must take place for Alaska to feel "ready to minister" to the "hundreds of thousands" of refugees when the lower 48 is ,,, what ,,, obliterated?

Isn't end of times, like, the END OF TIMES? Not the end of times for certain geographical American only locations?

If it's throw the dart buffet pick and choose locations, isn't it more likely that we'll stop, you know, in Vancouver or something? Way prettier, not as far.

The evangelicals put Bush over the top so if we're heading into endtimes they have only themselves to thank. I'm sure Palin can get some endtimes earmarks for a bridge to heaven or a tower of babel; some sort of manna from DC for the Christian soldiers converging on Juno.
