Default Rest in peace, Philip José Farmer

Yesterday, science fiction giant Philip José Farmer passed away at 91. Almost any science fiction fan worth the title knows about his Riverworld series, novels that start when the main characters die. Fewer may know of his World of Tiers stories, that may have inspired Zelazny to write the Amber stories.

Rest in peace, Philip, and thank you for the stories.

OH MAN!!! I wore out my Riverworld series in college! That and Hitchhiker's Guide were my absolute faves back then.

R.I.P.

I'm sorry to hear this.
Mr. Farmer was a talented writer and visionary.
I just reread the Riverworld series last fall.

May you be reborn in you own Riverworld, Mr. Farmer. RIP
