I am not a hotdog afficiando by any means. I only eat them at ball games. But I was severly disappointed in Grays Papaya in NYC. It was crunchy on the outside! ewwwwww. Their juice was good tho :)

I am no hot dog expert either but I know this: the hot dogs at Comcast are crap.

Gotta be Annes for me. Though I eat quickie mart hot dogs much more often. I'm not real pickey when it comes to cylindrically cooked meat.

For me the BEST hotdogs EVER were at Malin's Deli on W. Baltimore St.

They were served on crusty rolls and you could get all kinds of "fixins".

My preference was potato salad!

They were fantastic. I am sure they are no longer open today, but those were the best ever.

Second best are the hotdogs they used to serve at Memorial Stadium!

I used to love Howard Deli on Read Street hot dogs with the fried bologne. Also really good hot dogs to be had up in Hanover, PA at the "Hot Weiner" (i think it is called) it is somewhere on the square. Yum...

Sechrist hot dogs from Dallastown, Pa are pretty tasty. They are superior hot dogs.

McDonald, Burger King, Wendy's, Checker's, Sonic.

Plenty of fast food burger joint.

So how come we don't have a comparable number of fast food hot dog joints?

I swear I have asked that same question! Hotdogs are the BEST! For some reason- the tastiest ones I have ever had are from Pennsylvania.

The Dog House

A Wilmington De. Institution for sure, we used to stop there on the way to my Dad's folks place in NJ. I'm talking close to 50 years now.

Polock Johnny's on the block. Hands down. Miss it.

I think they are the best. I did not realize they were still in business.

I finally found a drive thru with hotdogs and all the fixins at Hardee's on Route 175 and 295 - the Dairy Queen in Odenton also :)

Great hotdogs at Hardee's and Dairy Queen? You probably like chili, sauerkraut and ketchup on your dog as well. What can I say? Ever been to Chicago?

Heck - I like 7-11 hotdogs :D

I have eaten several hotdogs in the Windy City - I don't like them that way... I think they taste too sweet

I still remember the look on a hotdog vendor's face when I ordered a hotdog with just ketchup - he almost refused to serve me and I think he called me a bad name in a foreign language :D

I don't care who makes them but the bun has to be slightly toasted with tons of mustard and diced raw onion. I used to like the ball park, Howard Johnson's and whoever made the hot dogs on hot dog day at St Agnes school in the 1950s. The smell of those buns has etched itself into my memory.
