Solid and disturbing season finale.

I think Season 4 is the best season of the show so far...

we just have to agree to disagree on this one ......

hated season 4, whole year was spent with various groups walking on the tracks  trying to reunite ......

stopped watching halfway through the year after never missing an episode in the years before .......

went back and watched the last 2 episodes of season 4 before the kickoff last week ......

season 5 is off to a good start :) ........

AMC fired the lead writer of TWD between the third and fourth season. So most of Season 4 was sort of a reset to the storyline.

I hated season three. Lots of bad writing. In season three they introduced lots of new characters but it became too predictable when new characters were often the first to get killed while the main cast usually went unharmed.

For season four, I really appreciated the fact that they spent more time developing the existing characters and new characters introduced to the show. Michonne and Carol went from being pretty annoying characters to having more depth and being more likeable.

I've always followed the backstory for the production of the show so I understood what they were trying to do.

It also seems like AMC is finally giving TWD a bigger production budget. They tried to pinch pennies the first few seasons of Walking Dead because they also had Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

Bummer about D'Angelo (I will always reference Wire characters by their Wire name).

I need to go back and skim old eps.  When I saw the car speeding down the road w/ the cross on the windows.. I remembered its significance w/ Daryl and the girl at the moonshine house... but I cant remember doodley about the girl.

Cool to see Carol as a badass.

Whats w/ Rick and his son Carl switching between being a wimp and a badass... Cant they be get-r-dun buttkickers at the same time?

Three episodes in and I'm loving the pace of the story so far.

They're not wasting too much time or wasting characters.

I'm guessing either Beth or Morgan make a return to the group next Sunday

And it is back with a very dark, hard to watch episode.

The guest star list was... impressive.

Second half of the season seems to have pacing issues like previous seasons.

The Alexandria gated community story arc looks promising though.

Last night's episode was the best so far in the second half of season 5.

The different directions that the main characters are taking in their new and "safer" environment is making for an interesting subplot

There were rumors before that Darryl was gay - I wonder if that is what this is leading up to. If so, millions of female fans will be crushed...

Something bad is obviously going to happen to Alexandria. I don't think they are bad people, just weak - and something from outside is going to mess with that. Maybe it's one of Rick's group, or maybe...Negan and the Saviors.

If it is Negan(and in all likelihood it will be) - buy bye Glenn.

I see something bad happening to the husband of Rick's love interest.

Carol is nuts!

Next week looks like a better episode.

Last night's episode was a bloodbath.

The buildup towards the Season finale is going pretty well so far.

My only question is, Where's Morgan?

They teased the Morgan character in the first half of the season. Hopefully it's not a dropped plot-arc.

Yes, Morgan. You know something has to be coming of that, these writers don't leave anything alone.

I'm thinking Negan is going to show up on the finale, and somebody is gonna die...

No doubt that dude deserves what he got, but Rick has lost it!  :)

Who do you think will die in the finally?  I say Sasha.  She's wigging out too.

I wonder if Morgan is the one putting W's on people's heads and tying naked women up in the woods?
