"Steadman wanted to see some Kentucky Colonels, but he wasn't sure what they looked like. I told him to go back to the clubhouse men's rooms and look for men in white linen suits vomiting in the urinals."

I have to see them in the gate to pick. But I haven't been wrong yet.

Female Jockey on a horse called "Pants on Fire"

She's the big talk and heavy betting target, sports talk on morning radio spotlighted her.

Derby Day!

It doesn't matter what day it is, I won't wear a derby.

Just my Orioles cap.

Have to go with Pants on Fire. The jockey Rosie Napravnik is from Baltimore County.

Nehro.

If he fails to hit the board I'm going to be disappointed.

I'll be putting an across the board bet on him.

Actually, although she spent some time at Maryland tracks and started racing here, she's from New Jersey.

those jockeys may be small...but i don't care what anyone says...it takes a really big man to wear a neon pink jersey with neon green polka dots. :D

I've got both Nehro and Shackleford in across the board bets.

Hopefully one of them will at least hit the board.

Both of the horses I bet on ran very well.

Too bad Shackleford couldn't hold 3rd but I'm not complaining! I did win some money.

Nehro was my main bet.

Congratulations to Animal Kingdom.

Rosie did well, had no idea she was a Baltimore county girl.

Exciting race but the coverage COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. Too much visual coverage of the talking heads ( Gary Stevens and company ) and not enough of the horses and the celebs.... The fans don't mind hearing the talking heads but WE DON'T NEED TO SEE THEM....
