I had been waiting to see this movie for a long time since I am a big Ryan Gosling and Christina Hednricks fan, and the trailer looked great. It also got a lot of buzz during Cannes. I read the book and liked it, but thought the movie could improve upon it.

 

Well, it did and then some. I saw it over the weekend and it was amazing. If you like movies that take their time and not these edited to death Michael Bay movies, you will love the slow burn of this movie.
