'00 Ravens make NFL.com All-Time Championship Game -- NEED YOUR VOTE NOW!!

24 posts in this topic

YOU DID IT!! We staged a late comeback, ousted the formidable 1984 49ers, and the 2000 Baltimore Ravens are facing off with the 1976 Oakland Raiders for the All-Time Greatest Team Championship on NFL.com. You can cast, re-cast, re-cast again, and re-cast your vote again, HERE. Just refresh the page and keep sliding that tally to 100% Ravens. The only thing that would be in the Raiders favor is the o-line, but they would be perplexed against our varied blitz scheme out of a 3-4.

Who knows? They might turn these games into an NFL films series like they did before with the dream championship. Wouldn't you love to see that? Then VOTE!!!!

Fan--I've seen it do that too. Just refresh, it should work. The results won't be immediate.

Ken--Yo, it's not voting for a game, it's voting for the team. Surely you would agree that the '00 Ravens deserve it!

on the other side of the ball, Trent Dilfer and Shannon Sharpe would have to take advantage of the Oakland secondary off playaction.

I slide the meter to 100% to the Ravens side and it seems my vote goes against the Ravens, what gives

After sliding to 100%, it then shows the current overall results. Currently, The Ravens are behind 51-49. Yesterday it was 54-46.

It hasn't changed at all since yesterday...still 51% Raiders, 49% Ravens.

Well...I pumped in a couple hundred from 4-5 PM, and watched it go from 51% Raiders 49% Ravens, to 50/50. And it looks like the voting has ended at 50/50. Is there overtime? :D

Original: You ROCK man. I was right with you, I'm pretty sure I slid in more than 1000 votes overall. I'm competitive. :D

But that last hour was panic time. Great work.

And, Slidemeister, (spelling is intentional and in respect, I'll not do it if ya hate it) NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND. They haven't posted a winner; it looked like a true split!

We fought back. Sweet. Let's see what NFL.com does with it; the entire thing has disappeared from the site.

That is freaking BULL. DANGIT!!!!! Four tenths?!?! I could've personally made that difference up!!! Frickin' A, man. Frickin' A!

They should've given it a 24 hour OT period.

Oh well. At least I learned how to write a Macro. :)

Dang.

Dumber than the "fiercest mascot" poll just a few years ago?

At least that one started off dumb. This one could have been accurate except that it appears some fans care more than others.

Redskins would take gold and silver in the greatest scab team super bowl champs.

Because of their team's frequent meltdowns in the playoffs, Ravens fans' are now resorting to manipulating an online poll of some meaningless mythical "NFL.com" championship. Truly and utterly pathetic.
