If It Wasn't For The MIAA and Dunbar Baltimore Would Be A Joke

6 posts in this topic

Looks like the area public schools have once again become the laughing stock of the state. Balt County, AA County and the rest around the city went bad in the playoffs. If the MIAA schools weren't in Balt the city would be a joke. All this talk all year long about how great the area is has been destroyed. Baltimore and the area public schools need to improve, stoop the hype on this board until they do.

Thursday, 7 pm: Class 3A Championship Game

#1 River Hill (13-0) vs. #3 Huntingtown (12-1)

Friday, 7:30 pm: Class 4A Championship Game

#1 Wise (13-0) vs. #3 Quince Orchard (12-1)

Saturday, 12 pm: Class 1A Championship Game

#1 Dunbar (12-1) vs. #3 New Town (11-2)

Saturday, 3:30 pm: Class 2A Championship Game

#1 Middletown (13-0) vs. #3 Douglass (Prince George's) (12-1)

Dunbar is the lone area school that shows it's pride

I wonder where you're getting your info. from? Everybody on this board has talked about how down football in the area is this year including the MIAA. I think either you're way off base or you're on the wrong message board.

If you think Balt City ball is down. Check out DC sometime. There was a time not so long ago DC public ball was on par with MoCo & PG. Now all the talent (including coaching) seems to have moved to the Privates & Suburbs.

I wonder if other cities are experiencing the same issues in football?

Mt St Joe, CHC, and other Privates suck up all of the outstanding ball players in the City. Hell, CHC recruit from Dunbars backyard. New Town, Milford, and Franklin clean up what exist in W. Baltimore County. If New Town, Milford, and Franklin were in the burbs they would be combined into a single school. Just think about that.
