Tax credit to help with insurance? That sounds like the voucher program Ryan was offering for Medicare.

What an assortment of propaganda, half truths and distortions! Interesting that the advertisement was prepared on behalf of the Nurse Alliance of Service Employees International Union.. In Maryland, I don't know of any unionized nurses....only nursing techs, nursing assistants and transporters. Perhaps the alleged nurses in the video can address why Maryland hospitals are having their Medicare reimbursement rates cut even further, resulting in staff reductions and the ability to provide quality health care.

If you are ultra-wealthy, you don't care whether others have adequate health care because you can get the best health care money can buy.

Not ultra wealthy......just somebody who goes to work everyday, pays health care premiums and tired of seeing tax dollars and insurance premiums used to subsidize others. It would be nice to get the level of health care I pay for and not see it diluted so that everyone gets the same lowest common denominator of health care.

Look! Lyberal Democrat Obama Voters made a video and said that they are nurses!

http://cnsnews.com/n...be-20000-family

"The IRS's assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.

The examples point to families of four and families of five, both of which the IRS expects in its assumptions to pay a minimum of $20,000 per year for a bronze plan."

No you don't. You just know that your premium went up.

They raise premiums all the time, and they do it because they think they can get away with it.

How is it possible to have an adequate discussion of a bill over 1000 pages long in 90 seconds? Don't answer, it was a rhetorical question.

Well the point is to give an brief overview of what the law does. Not everyone is going to read the law or understand it if they attempt to read it

You can't -- especially when more and more is coming out about what is in the bill. Diagnoses for turtle bites. Come on...
My children are my legacy.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Medicare for all would be far less complicated but it had no chance of passage in Congress even with Dems in control.

Obamacare is the capitalistic healthcare reform alternative for dealing with the uninsured and strengthening competition in the marketplace...

That's funny. All the other times it went up about 4-5%. Suddenly, we have Obamacare and it goes up 20%. Yea, just a coincidence.

If Obamacare had the remotest connection to capitalism, it would allow insurance companies to compete in all 50 states. The current system keeps prices artificially high.

The reason for ICD-10 codes is to make it easier for insurances (including Medicare/Medicaid) to refuse to pay for treatments because they were not coded properly. Yeah, they have some kind of crap explanation about making it easier to develop data about treatments, but coders and coding managers know the real truth.

Insurance companies aren't prohibited from competing in all 50 states. They CHOOSE not to compete in all 50 states. Hypothetically, insurance companies could compete in all 50 state exchanges if they want to...

As every low information voter knows "But we have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it, away from th fog of controversy"
