Cooper should have never said what he said. Sadly the way the word is so commonly used in music, movies, and the African American community in general, we are basically telling a generation of younger people that it's no different than the casual use of the F word. It has been gradually ingrained in vocabulary for 25+ years now. They know it's wrong, but see less and less difference between the severity of it and the F word. Until of course they utter it in front of a mic or a camera.
