Some serious criminals there. Violation of probation for hit and run is a capital offense I believe. The FBI had a press conference today announcing that they will be sending every available agent to Frederick County to assist in the manhunt.

Well they are going after criminals
So if this is one end of the extreme where the police will actually go after criminals who violate probation the other end of the extreme would be a total lack of policing and an example of that would be Detroit where in the news the other day they did not arrest a scumbag who raped a woman with down syndrome for over a month because they say the rape kit took a few weeks to process and then they lost the paperwork etc lie lie etc covering their a $ $ es etc etc more lies from the police etc.
So i have to ask you which end of the extreme is worse and where would you rather live; Detroit or Mayberry??????

Officers made contact with Michael Jason Kline, 27, of that address, who police said was intoxicated and belligerent.

While they were investigating, Kline hit one of the officers in the chest, which led to his arrest, the news release stated. The same officer suffered an injury to his hand trying to handcuff a combative Kline.

Kline then spit in the face of another officer as they were trying to adjust his handcuffs and continued to resist, police said.

Kline is charged with second-degree assault on a law enforcement officer, second-degree assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Good. 5-0 is doing their job. Some of those convicted have serious charges, others not so much but still criminals nonetheless . What would you rather have the Frederick County Police Department do? Arrest people who broke the law or just sit around the local donut shop having snacks?

Do you think publicizing these arrests will be a deterrent to crime or just feel good publications?

Good for Frederick County.  Not sure of what the OP was trying to accomplish here.

The time has come for a centrist political party. Rational Americans are not comfortable with extreme views to the left or to the right, and our current parties have no intentions of ever abandoning their ever increasing distance from sane, reasonable thinking.
