The Republican National Committee unanimously passed a resolution barring NBC and CNN from hosting 2016 GOP presidential debates. RNC spokesman Sean Spicer hailed the vote, conducted at the committee's summer meeting in Boston on Twitter.

RNC chairman Reince Priebus issued an ultimatum to NBC and CNN earlier this month to drop planned productions about Hillary Clinton or surrender the right to broadcast the party's next round of presidential debates. NBC is planning to air a miniseries with Oscar nominee Diane Lane in the role of Clinton, while CNN has a planned documentary about the former secretary of state.

What a bunch of cowards.

Your implication that the GOP debates will not be available to the public is a lie. No surprise there.

The debates will be available on ABC, CBS, PBS and many cable outlets.

Your attempt to hoodwink the people who visit this forum is duly noted even though it is a total failure.

People like you give partisanship a bad name.

Your implication...

Note the sneaky way VOSA tries to get around the fact that I never said what he claims.

Go away, lol. Just another tiny yapping noise at my heels.

More fun: Fox is looking at producing a Clinton movie as well, but oddly not mentioned as one of the boycotted networks. Actually don't know if this is within the RNC's discretion. What is the point anyway? People who want to watch, will. Never miss an opportunity to look aggrieved and spiteful I guess. Swing voters love that. Oy.

Probably because they don't think they have to control the referees in order to do it.

Oh I think when you insist the P grew up in Kenya, fuel the "he's a Muslim" flames and repeatly call him a socialist, you pretty much give up the chance to host the man on your program.

And Obama has appeared on Fox News. Why is Hannity the litmus test?

No it's more along the lines of they don't want to participate in a biased debate.

And no I'm not a Republican nor an apologist ,it is what it is.

Republicans show up on CNN and NBC, too. This is nothing but pure trolling.

What passes for stimulating debate on here from a liberal perspective. If you don't agree with me you are...
1. a RWNJ
2.You can't possibly be moderate on an IND. These beliefs mystify the Left.
3. Your lying if you defend any side except theirs.

It's a smart move. That will make it harder for Democratic operatives pretending to be journalists (Stephanopoulos) to plant questions on wedge issues during the debates.

Plus they don't need the media and these antiquated debates. Candidates can go right to the voters...just like Barry the campaigner, now fundraiser in chief did.

Except that they already admitted that they want to control the referees, so they are afraid of a debate where they are not in control.

Nice try spinning it though, they are cowards if they are peeing their pants with fear of Stephanopolous.
