Buck makes no sense. Before he had Chris Davis batting 5th every night when you typically bat the guy on your team with the most power in the clean-up spot. Now he has Chris batting 3rd. What the heck Buck? Are you stupid?

White Sox with the early lead on NYY in the 1st 1-0.

Kuroda still struggling. He's allowed 5, 7, and 7 in his last 3 starts.

1st and 3rd with 1 out and all Nick can do is pop up to 3rd base?? What a useless bum. Another bad contract from the Orioles front office.

I guess asking Markakis to put one somewhere in the outfield is just too much to ask

Popping up and not getting the ball out of the infield is his thing this year, I think he played better last September:rolleyes:

They're giving Britton a start? Why? No time to let him "find himself" or whatever.

What? When?

Tomorrow. What if the Orioles lose tonight. It's definitely not the time for Mr. Norfolk

Wow.

I don't get it.

If so, I hope he has a short leash. First signs of anything getting out of hand and bring in Gausman. I would like to see how he does in a long relief situation.

I guess the way Gonzalez has been pitching, they probably figure Britton could do no worse. Hopefully Tillman goes deep in the game tonight, because you figure the bullpen will get a lot of work tomorrow. Maybe the extra day of rest will get Gonzalez back on track.

Me neither. He's another Jake Arrieta. One good start, then a bunch of bad ones, then back to Norfolk, then rinse and repeat.

Once each game, I would love to see Davis drop a bunt down the third base line. Maybe that would eliminate the shift against him.

I can't remember any good starts since coming back from his shoulder injury last year. He may have had a few, but he hasn't looked the same since then, and honestly when I think of the future of O's pitching he is an afterthought. It would be great to be wrong about that but I don't have high hopes.

He did it in a spring training game and it worked. I thought for sure we might see it at least once this year.

After yesterday I was wondering what's so good about the Indians, and how do they have that record since I don't really follow them. They're pretty scrappy. This isn't going to be so easy.

Playing nearly 40 games against the Twins and ChiSox each year helps.

I don't want them to give up on Britton because he does look like he has something. I just don't want him in the picture right now. Let him watch and at the very most be a long reliever if they're getting clobbered in some game.
