The injury to Jacoby Jones could be a blessing in disguise. It looks like Marlon Brown will be the #2 receiver against the Browns. The way has played and seized opportunities you get the sense that he may not give up that designation. This would allow Stokley and Jones to be 3 and 4 depending on the situation and need. The good thing is that it puts Jones in position to be better rested for his most suited role which is as a returner. Lets hope that when Jones returns he isn't taken out again by one of his own!

I think one of the best things that could happen for the Ravens on the offensive side is for Brown and Mellette to get more reps and hopefully step up to the task. We know what Jones is... a really fast guy with bad hands. Brown and Mellette have shown flashes of "plus" hands. Might have been a meaningless pre-season game, but the pass Brown caught for a TD against the Panthers, where he navigated some traffic, reached up above his head, caught it and turned to score... Jacoby Jones will probably NEVER make that play.
