In all honesty, with Gilman not blowing Spalding out, I don't really have a problem with these rankings.

So you're conceding that MCD is better than Gilman?

Aw, NO! Gilman will still end the year 8-2. They do the same thing every year, they end up getting bored. They did it last year the first time they played CHC. The Spalding game was just like that. But I put that in the coaches. For the life of me, I don't understand what the coaches are thinking. Gilman had made some significant changes on defense the last 3 games and for some untold reason went back to their old defense. They had moved Keihn to LB and I thought that was a great move. He has been a nightmare at LB. They moved him back to DE and put a former starter back in. Spalding notice this change and just exposed it all game. And instead and changing back to Keihn at LB, they kept the same defense. They also barely played Shamar Shanks, who has been outstanding the last few games. I understand getting seniors time and all but at what cost?

I will say this, if they play like they did against Spalding, McDonogh will definitely beat Gilman. I expect Spalding to have been a wake up call for Gilman. But like I said before. Spalding is a very very well coached team. They knew what Gilman was going to do before Gilman even knew. They were calling Gilman plays from their sideline and was almost always right. Gilman played with no emotion, this isn't going to happen against McD. A lot will be at stake. But Gilman has two other games before that. And we know that CHC's season would be made if they somehow beat Gilman!
