according to him, a win is a win ......

they had 7 but beat just 2 teams with winning records, Old Dominion and Virginia Tech.......

VT was in a down year but their best win of the Edsall era .......

Old Dominion had a winning record against powerhouses like Norfolk St, Campbell, Liberty, Howard, etc ......

Terps beat Florida International (1-11), UConn ( 3-9) UVA (2-10), NCSt (3-9) and WVA (4-8) ......

and they were beat by Marshall in a mickey mouse bowl game ......

Can't wait to see that Big 10 schedule :(

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It has a nice sound to it

Suggs has signed. I've never been so happy to be wrong

Don't blame me, I voted Bob Barr:cool:

In all honesty, Maryland is in the tougher division. The divisions were divided geographically, but most people think that has resulted in unbalanced divisions.

Ouch!!! Almost all of them against teams with 7 wins or better. I guess we better enjoy the non conference schedule

Big Ten won only 2 bowl games this year. Michigan State is the only B1G football program that is the real deal. If MD had a better coach, it could play in the Rose Bowl occasionally. Of course ACC football is getter better and will only improve. The South is where it's at.

MSU was the Real deal this year. Don't forget PSU. They are still bowl intelligible. And depite Braxton playing the entire game with a bum throwing shoulder, OSU was still in the dominant position to win that game in the final drive. The big Ten's traditional power teams will remain: OSU, Nebraska, PSU and Michigan.

But bowl wins are about match-ups. This is not the BIG TEN-ACC basketball challenge. Not te same thing.

All this said - this I why I said (but everybody criticized me) that Maryland will win it's fair share of games. It should be noted tat Maryland is in the tougher of the two divisions.
