I found this site with its 29 or so corrections. Some hope the 30th correction is the delete button

What is your take on this site?

The reason this site was built –

WHY THEY WERE CHOSEN

(Deu 7:6 KJV) For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu 7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

(Deu 7:8 KJV) But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

(Deu 7:9 KJV) Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

(Deu 7:10 KJV) And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

(Deu 7:11 KJV) Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

(Deu 7:12 KJV) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

(Deu 7:13 KJV) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

note: they be not multiplying

BTW

..According to a 2002 study by the Jewish Agency, "the number of Jews in the world is declining at an average of 50,000 per year."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_population

(Deu 8:6 KJV) Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

(Deu 8:11 KJV) Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

(Deu 8:19 KJV) And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

God chose them to show us the way. By example, by following His Commandments and expressing the love for the stranger as we all should love our neighbors. It is spelled out in scripture, all you have to do is read it and do it and then it will be done.

(Lev 19:34 KJV) But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God

They were chosen to show us the way, to show us how to treat the stranger, how to be compassionate and loving to your neighbor and by doing so peace would envelope the world.

Look, when are you gonna get it in your head that NO ONE is "Chosen". Those Islamic nutbags who are Murdering people by the Bushel think the same of themselves! Religion is something that you keep within Yourself to better Yourself. You don't go ramming it down everyone else's throat. People don't like it! For myself I'm looking more at Chaos Theory and Entropy as the drivers of the Universe now as the Big Bang was really the last big Creation event and it looks like everything will just wind down from there. If you somehow think that you're something Special, well that's just your Ego getting in the way.

Beyond?

This is Beyond.

Even if you're Buried, your remains will still deteriorate to a point and after that the coffin and even eventually the concrete vault in the ground will come apart over the next several million years. Same as if you go for the Burn and get stuck in an urn, that will also rust away and become a part of the ground itself. THEN in a couple Milion more years, whatever happens to the Human Race, it'll either have moved on long before then or evolved into something else or have become extinct by then, the Sun will itself have evolved and become a Red Giant and by most estimates will expand to about or past the Earth's present orbit and consume Everything. Your elementary particles will become part of that untill the star eventually sheds the gas shell and collapse into a White Dwarf that itself will go dark becoming just a ball of condensed carboon over several more Billions of years.

That is what is Beyond!

"Where is your God now?"

this will seem a bit bizarre even for me but I believe our planet was seeded by visitors just as we are about to seed Mars.

I really don't think it's gutless and afraid so much as uninterested.  However, calling people babies isn't exactly Mensa level conversation either.

Why the link was created-----

My mother gave me a bible that has/had both the old and New Testament’s. I was given the bible because I attended kindergarten in a Catholic Church school through the first grade. . All my life all we ever talked about was the New Testament. At the age of about 50 I started reading the Old Testament as a past time. I soon discovered that this is where it all began. The Lord, (God) was directly talking to a specific group of people, they were called Israelite's. In this discussion God did not demand anything but He did suggest doing this & doing that,.,. but the choice to do so was left up to the Israelite to decide. They were given a “choice”. As a gentile this does not concern me or mine but still it is fascinating readying. Carrying you right into the New with an open heart.

The site wound up being part biblical, part history and part here and now.

BTW Jesus was an Israelite

& just a note: The real promised land has turned out to be the USA

Just as it was written so very long ago
