Maybe they mistook them as a coyote.

Your "buddy" has a llama? Sounds pretty unbelievable, "Mitchum". I call BS.

I've seen lots of llamas and alpacas on farms in the region.  Why would that simple statement be questioned?

Looks like that dummy got away with just some fines.  Why can't the govt actually punish people?

13.7 million people are active hunters in the United States.  The vast majority are responsible and safe.  There are always exceptions and poaching has been a problem for a long time.

Frankly if we outlawed hunting poaching would still be a problem.

My bet is whoever shot the two eagles is not a hunter.

Probably some Monty county lib halfwit  who sneaked his grandpa's old shot shotgun out of the closet and got a buzz shooting the most symbolic bird in the country..

A warm sunspot Spring welcome to all of our new O'Malley sycophant posters. I guess the re-election campaign has begun. :)

A businessman is on one of those Back-To-Nature stress-relief vacations when he gets separated from his group. Days go by before he is finally found sitting by a campfire eating a bald eagle he had killed. He gets arrested and goes on trial. His lawyers pleads for mercy for his client who is a businessman, out of league in the woods, he might have died if no one had ever found him, etc.

Well, the judge takes pity on the guy and dismisses the charges. But, before the guy can leave, the judge says, "I gotta ask you, sir, what does bald eagle taste like?"

The guy says, "It tastes a lot like spotted owl."
