Make it 5 - you missed Steven Smothers from Franklin, who made the 2nd team offense

The sophomore class is just LOADED in Maryland. I've seen all of these players play(although only saw Harding in a scrimmage) and all are very gifted athletes and players. Ellison Jordan and Smothers both had monster seasons(don't know how Harding did this year). These younger teams are a lot on potential more than what kids have done on the field.

Also thought I'd add that the Soph of the year was originally at Red Lion Christian (DE) and parted ways when the infamous transition occurred

Should also be noted that Gilman's Camaron Spence was first team Maxpreps Freshman All American! The sky is truly the limit for this kid, during a time when kids are older for their grade, Cam was actually a 13 year old on Varsity. Gilman's 2017 Class is SPECIAL, with two potential 5 Stat players in Spence and QB Kasim Hill(who also was at Red Lion). They will be tough to beat on the future.

Yeah red lion had a great crop of 2016/17/18 players... Most of which are still at ECA. Kasim was, and is a good player good luck to him. ECA has a great young QB in the ranks waiting to compete for top QB in the state with Kasim. The young talent in the state is defiantly in abundance should be great to watch them all develop, and compete against each other.
