The New ACC rival

Good luck getting the natives up for a match against Iowa.  LOL

...and yet, the "natives" were up (sold out) against Indiana and most recently, Wisconsin.

In fact -

Perhaps? But funny thing is, #5 in the ACC, the cheaters from UNC, got beat by....get ready for it....yep, Iowa.

That said, the Big did win this year's Challenge.

Just sayin'

Take a look at the RPI Or the BPI.  Or Kenpom.  Or Sagurin.  Or the AP or Coaches polls.

The consensus is that 9 loss cheating UNC is equal to or even better than those traitors from Maryland.

Maybe next year you can take a payout and join the Pac-10. :D

Yes, UNCheat is better than Iowa.

Maybe not Iowa St.  Or Northern Iowa. But better than Iowa, yes...

It's a 30-40 game season.  If you use one game to say that one team is better than another, then you clearly do not understand college hoops.

Clearly, you never played sports, Wally.

Head-to-head, The cheaters from UNC lost to Iowa. I don't know what universe you live in, but for the rest of us, that means Iowa > UNC Cheaters. Sorry, that facts get you all confused. Age catching up to you?

So, given that Iowa is better than UNC, it stands to reason that ILL is better than UMD.

Right ?

Get serious, dude...

For Bruce:

In terms that you might better understand:

If the O's sweep the Yankees in a series, does than mean that the O's are a better team than the Yankees ?

So Iowa defeats UNC, and that makes UNC better than Iowa?

Sounds like somebody didn't finish school.

Byngo.

Dear mr "get serious, dude" -

"Better" is a relative term. Iowa beating the cheaters of UNC is score-board proof that they were "better" that day. Might they be "better" today? Well, until they have a re-match, we only can say, for sure, Iowa 1 - UNC Cheaters 0.

Maybe math is different in the South? I understand that you and your kin still don't think the North won the Civil War?

Au contraire, my overeducated and underintelligent friend...

The Union did indeed win the Civil War.  That's undeniable.

But you don't base the outcome of a war (or even who has the best army) on one battle, do ya ?

If you did, well...

Seton Hall > Villanova

Oregon St > Arizona

Rutgers > Wisconsin

Miami > Duke

These are all possible #1 seeds that got beat by teams that won't even make the Tourney.

They merely played better that day.

That does not make them the better team in the overall scheme of things.

All conjecture until they play again.

Until then, the only fact we know is Iowa beat the cheaters of UNC. Conjecture all you want, but it doesn't change a thing.

Save the smack until you have some facts, jack.

You are so lame...

And to think, you are teaching our youth.

I weep for the future.

Here's a Fact for ya:

Illinois beat Maryland.

And here's a question for ya:

Is Illinois a better team than Maryland ?

You are so simple minded, it's become too easy to torque you up.

As for your question - I don't speculate on things not related to Iowa > Uncheaters

Very well, I accept your oblique surrender.

In the future, it might help to take your blinders off and actually speculate.

It would help you in many facets of life, beyond the fundamental understanding of college basketball.

Not only did Iowa beat the cheaters of UNC, but now, MSU beat UVa (the top team in the ACC) in a game for all the marbles. That must sting.

Better luck next year.

LMAO.

UVA and the traitors of UMD are both out.  So now we have to root for our conferences, I guess.

Iowa beat UNC in the regular season, that much is true.  But now Iowa is at home and UNC is still dancing.

In fact, I count 5 ACC teams in the Sweet 16.  Not too shabby.

How many P1G teams are still alive... ?

big > ACC in Challenge

Big 1 -ACC 0 on head to head in NCAA.

Those are the facts.

So, who did the ACC teams beat (besides NC State)? Duke, as usual, has been handed a gift by being "placed" in the weakest region, bare none. A joke.

Yes, Iowa lost to #2 Gonzaga....of whom most believe will be in the Final Four.

Again, other than NC State, who have ACC teams beaten?

Let's see, over the course of the season...

Wisconsin

MSU (twice)

UMD

VCU

Ohio St (twice)

Iowa

Looks pretty decent to me...

Let's see:

Now that Wisconsin beat the cheaters of UNC, it's: Big Ten 2 - ACC 0....and the Wisc athletes actually have to go to real classes, unlike UNC thugs.

I guess the Big Ten Challenge, where the BiG > ACC, was indicative of how things might play out in the Dance.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

It's difficult not to root against Wisconsin.

They are a good program.  They'd fit right into the ACC, except for the fact that they are not near the Atlantic coast...

Also, while I despise the athletic factory that is MSU, at this point I hope that they go all the way.

Can you figure out why ?

Oops, it's Big Ten 3 -ACC 0 in the NCAA head to head between big ten and ACC teams.

Of course we knew this is how it would play out from the regular season Challenge, where the BiG > ACC.

Two from the big Ten into the Final Four. The ACC's last hope rides on the success of Duke. Coming up.

Have a swell day.
