Hmmm....a "physical altercation?"  Must have been all him.  If she even as much as bumped him back he would have crumpled to the ground.  :D

Such a shame.  He seems like one of the good guys.

Oh please. This is just ridiculous.

The cops tackled him before he even started running. :D

Hey diddle diddle, Ray Rice up the middle. That is so wrong, but there, I did it.

Seriously though, I feel bad for him. He seems (up until this season) like a solid guy, and I hope things are not unraveling for him. It is certainly not a positive thing (forgive me for pointing out that nothing good happens after midnight, especially in AC - at least not good career-wise), but maybe it is something both partners can learn from and grow. One can hope.

Very disappointing, strike one!
Hopefully this won't be a pattern.I do understand that women can be frustrating at times, but he has to learn how to walk away. Especially when liquor is involed

Preston does it again....

This is a hatchet job on Rice IMO.   The guy had an issue with his fiancee. It got physical...and I cannot condone it or support Rice for that ...but  they went home together....so, it can't be THAT serious.  And then an article like this ...kicks the guy when he's down.

R Rice has performed at a very high level here long enough to get a shot to redeem himself for last season.

I just saw Larry Michaels report it on Redskins Nation. I didn't really.notice espn reporting on it at all. Seems to be just a local story.

Kick him while he's down...how quickly we judge...how quickly we forget. SMH

He's done millions of good for the community, he gets a pass.

Remember this?

Perhaps the first sign of "more than meets the eye" with Ray Rice. Has his guns and cash taken while his friend is staying at the house.

IF the allegations are true ~ he gets no pass for domestic violence. Something like that isn't something that all of a sudden just "happens". And that is especially true when someone becomes a spokesperson for promoting an anti~bullying program.

I also find it hard to believe that no one from the Ravens organization has been in touch with him ~ including Mr. Harbaugh ~ unless that is by intentional design.

That they went home together means nothing if one knows anything about domestic abuse cases.

What about his fiance?  She hit him too and was also charged.

I'm trying to withhold judgement until more facts emerge. Two days later, we know nothing more than we did Sunday night.

I don't think true domestic violence cases should be dismissed lightly. In my mind, a one off slap does not necessarily a full blown domestic violence case make. It does call for closer scrutiny of the couple and perhaps professional help.

Maybe they'll release the video. That might prove key to putting context to the situation.
