Yes. If there is video showing that Ray Rice hit his fiance and knocked her unconscious, then he is done, his career with the Ravens is over. There would be no way they could keep him. Or would want to.

 

His ability to come back and perform was highly in question anyway.

I mean this not as a judgement, just an assessment of what will happen. I can't see it any other way, other than evidence of some great mitigating factor of which I cannot imagine.

There is a better chance of Hoyer getting a perm...or walking again.

IF IF IF the way it looks is the way it was (which I still insist remains to be established) then he has to be done. I personally believe that any criminal is able to accept his guilt and punishment, pay whatever time or penalty, repent and recover, but the hysteria surrounding this case will make that very difficult, especially for a player on the downside of his career.

If the NFL got rid of every player that hit a woman how many would be left?
