I was listening to MLB radio yesterday. an O's fan called in to talk about the addition of Cruz. they asked him his prediction for the team this year.

Brace yourself for this one

he said: the O's will win 100 games and easily take the division. Cruz will have his best season ever and will win the AL MVP. Tillman will improve upon last year, and will be packaged with Gausman in a trade that will bring Cliff Lee to Baltimore. Bundy will come up to take over a rotation spot, and he'll immediately have an impact. the O's will blast their way through the playoffs and win it all.

Fun being optimistic but a trade of Tillman and Gausman for Lee is just dumb

The reason I don't listen to call in shows is people say stupid stuff.

Let's hope not. After he disappeared from here the O's had two straight winning seasons.  I'd like to keep it that way. :)

I only take stock in what Hector predicts now after the last couple seasons.

You are a very wise Man(of STEEL). For 2014, the O's win the AL East with about 93 wins and lose to the Angels in the AL Championship series. Matt Weiters is the AL MVP.

Why the Angels?
Ideological gravy trains lead to poor decisions.
Learn from the last President, and make this next era one of rebuilding what has been torn down.

Lots of high paid "stars" who grossly underperformed in 2013. 2014 is about redemption and it doesn't hurt that Texas is slipping and the Oakland bubble will burst.

Gausman and Tillman for Cliff Lee? Might as well give this team a blindfold and a cigarette.

yeah, that comment in particular had me shaking my head. that guy got on the phone and made O's fans look as bad as the team's owner.

Hi Philly...we would like to trade two young, quality pitchers, that are both under team control for 3-6 years, and are making pre-arb salaries, for your 36 yr old pitcher who is making $25M this year, and gets a raise in '15. What'dya say?

No, no, no, I promise. I'm not joking. we want to make this deal with you.

you know what else I was thinking, how's Ryan Howard looking these days? we'll give you Chris Davis and Manny for him.

hold on a minute...I just had a brilliant idea Philly. are you ready for this...it will blow your mind...lets swap teams. huh? it will be revolutionary

Disagree about Oakland. They may not win the division, but they aren't in/on a bubble. They have real, young talent on both sides of the diamond.

I agree with you that Oakland has talent. I still think they over-performed the last couple years and are likely to be a non-contending .500 team in 2014.
