You miss 100% of the shots you never take.
I skate to where the puck is going to be, not to where it has been.

Who are the Colts?

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It has a nice sound to it

Suggs has signed. I've never been so happy to be wrong

Don't blame me, I voted Bob Barr:cool:

Good grief. Happy for indy that they got irsay and his band of misfits. I would rather have waited the 12 years for Art Modell. The Colts had not been decent since 1977 before jones got hurt. Drunken bob ran the team in the ground and then wondered why he had no support.

Mark herrmann comments were fitting. The fans compared us to the Colts legends which we were no where near as good. Just shows how far they had fallen!
Baltimore Sports fan since 1965!

Confusing the delusional with fact since 2005!

Still wish they could have kept the name and colors though.

They are the team whose owner moved them to another state for a better deal before we did the same thing by giving a better deal to the Brown's owner to get him to move their team here.

It still seems that Baltimore will never get over losing the Colts and that the Ravens will always be the spouse that this area's sports fans had to "settle" for after their true love left them.

And the Ravens will always be #2 here because of that. :(

Yeah, that would have been nice but....Colts will always be Baltimore's team and those hayseeds out in the middle of nowhere know it.

Not so.  There are already a lot of fans whose only knowledge of the Colts is as the team from Indianapolis.  As time goes by, that percentage gets bigger and bigger.

True story, my friend was at Ladarius Webbs house doing some work and he didn't even know the Colts were originally from Baltimore.

"And the Ravens will always be #2 here because of that." wishful thinking. many fans, and many more every year, become ravens fans, never knowing or caring that the colts used to be here (i suspect a poll taken now would reveal a vast majority of ravens fans wouldn't want the colts to return, even if they could). on the same token, many fans born before the irsay move die off every year, gradually resigning the baltimore colts to obsure history and less to living memory. life goes on.

And that is why the whining should finally stop after 30 years. Reporting on the 30~year anniversary is understandable ~ but not the continuing "They stole our team!" nonsense when we did the same thing to Cleveland. Let them keep the team name and the colors

The whining should have stopped when the first Ravens truck pulled into town

I think a lot of the problem is they also claim the Baltimore Colts history, which is ridiculous .Now that they did steal.

You can't steal history. No one thinks Johnny U was an Indianapolis Colt

I guess it's just me, I don't see it as a big deal. I guess I can understand why it might bother other people though. Sort of

I grew up liking the Rams, they flew away to St. Louis.  I got over that long ago.  :)
