Wieters is crushing the ball left handed. Keeping his hands and weight back and slightly crouched in his swing has made a huge difference.

You know, watching these other teams play you realize just how solid the O's defense is day after day. That Cruz double should have been an out.

Should have definitely been an out and when he dropped it I said to myself, poor Twins fans, having to put up with that crap. :)

We're gonna need 20 mill a year to sign him again. Start saving your change O's fans.

The notion of Jimenez pitching in a playoff game is terrifying

I have a feeling he's going to start pitching really well now. Based on absolutely no logic. :)

Holy crap. Third deck shot by Cruz. What a missile that was.

Lotsa positives tonight so far: Jimenez punches out a dominant start to rest the pen after yesterday's marathon, Wieters continues to rake, Cruz continues to rake with a hammer. All this going on the road after a looonng day yesterday. Games like this make me think this team has staying power.

Now, Hunter, don't make me a fool in my optimism ...

Now that April is over, is the "real" Ubaldo here to stay?

We can only hope. Maybe pitching against a sub .500 team helped too.

Well the next two games weren't fun.
