Palmer: "Father Time just deposited one in the seats ..."

Nice line, take the sting a bit out of the 3-hr by Methuselah. I guess Norris got a bit upset by having strike three stolen from him by the ump.

Wow...

Hardy, Jones, and Davis really starting to hit

Markakis has been locked in all year and Cruz is just... wow...

If we can get Machado clicking this team's offense will be a force to be reckoned with.

Norris laboring now. But battled Santana admirably.

Why are there first-base coaches? To tell people like Ryan Flaherty not to stretch something like that into two based. With no outs, just get on and don't worry about getting into scoring position, especially against a guy we've been hitting around pretty well so far.

Delmon Young joins the party.

This team can flat out hit.

Young should be starting over Lough.

Flaherty gets an IBB. Wonder if he's ever gotten one of those before?

I like the grit Norris showed last night. He's been pretty good this year.

There's no reason this team should go through the offensive droughts that they do. If they can avoid another dry spell this year this is a very winnable division especially if Wieters can make it back for the last few months.

Was the home run Giambi hit legit or was it a Camden Yards special?

It was only a couple of rows back but it was to the opposite field (left) for him so I'd say a little bit of both.
