Back to back walks after being 0-2 on both is just maddening.

Jimenez must have realized his pitch count was far too low to be getting out of the second inning

Nice play by Hardy there. He got him by an inch or two at first with that throw. I give umps grief all the time for their strike zone, but 1st base umps call incredibly close plays at first correctly the majority of the time.

Does anyone think Chris Davis will top 20 homeruns this year?

I think Steve Clevenger should be Batting. I'm still surprised they sent him down

Man I hope so.  :o

When teams start to get out of it, especially after the break, he will start to see some better pitches to hit as some teams and players start to go through the motions. I think he gets 20 pretty easy, but 30 might be hard if he doesn't get some things straightened out.

Totally perplexing to me to keep Joseph and send Clevenger down.

Ugh... Joseph.  He should have an mandatory take on a 2-0 count.  I don't care if the ball is right down the middle he's better off hoping for a walk.

He's a giant hole in the lineup anymore. It's one reason they don't have a very good record

Despite his struggles, he's still got one of the best OBPs on the team.

It's too bad Jones can't bat against lefties all the time.

Any time Matusz gets someone out it's a 'whew' moment for me.
