According to reports, Ravens OTA's have gone as well as can be expected. Several players have jumped out as guys who are going to have great seasons, including K.O., Ray Rice, Steve Smith, Matt Elam, and Kapron Lewis-Moore. Looking at this line up, it appears that the talent level is there to make it back to the playoffs. And the feeling is, these guys want it bad. Nobody is running on us this year and our back ups could probably start on most rosters around the NFL.

I'm pumped and can't wait for the season to start.

Oh yeah, big time. I think Flacco is a great fit for Kubiak's offense.

Flacco is great on the move and Kubiak moves the pocket which will make the o lines job easier too.

Only thing I am worried about is the cry baby whiner fans in bawlmer won't have nothin to complain about. If things go too well.

I'm sure someone will always be whining about the owner?

All theb itching about the draft seems to be receding in the rear view mirror (including mine) at this point. I guess it remains to be seen how it all works out. If you can't be optimistic at this point, when is it going to happen?

I always look forward to footbal season.

As to how pumped, I'll let you know as we start seeing how the O Line shakes out.

I'm optimistic though, I'm hoping Kubiak turns things around on the offensive side. IMO, getting Kubiak was a ig win for us. But you gotta be able to block.

Is it Football Season yet?

I'm pumped but only because I have my tickets to NOLA and Miami. They both should be a good time.

We already signed a right tackle. His name is Rick Wagner.

Sadly you're correct. Hopefully there's a real RT in place before opening day

I don't agree with the assumption that Wagner will not be a good RT. Sure, maybe he won't, and if not perhaps someone will be available later in camp. To me one of the most important characteristics of an OL is playing together, hopefully for years, so it seems good to me to put in a young player (especially next to Yanda) and let him grow into the position. Maybe you know more about Rick Wagner than I do to assume he cannot do the job, but I think it makes good sense to work in that direction.

Yep we have a young Center growing into the position. That worked out well last season

Point taken, but just because that did not work out doesn't mean the principle is wrong. To me Wagner is worth a try at RT. Is there something you know about him that makes you think he cannot play the position? I am willing to be informed, but just because he hasn't doesn't mean he can't. And how will we ever find out if he isn't given the chance?

The one game he played in last year he allowed two sacks.

Too small a sample, too early in his career, probably never practiced with the first team, and the whole offense sucked. I'm not saying he is the answer; I'm saying he should be given the opportunity.
