I believe it will be our defensive line. Nobody is going to run on us this year. Too much talent up front and very capable back ups. Nobody.

If Suggs and Dumervil on the outside and especially Ngata inside return to form, you may very well be right. Otherwise, I'm not sure where the team improved its run-stopping ability to the extent you're predicting.

Actually, I wasn't even talking about these three guys. They're a given. Add three others to the list. Brandon Williams is an upcoming break out athletic beast. Kapron-Lewis, who is now 100% healthy after being picked 6th round two years ago. He was a projected 1st or 2cnd round pick before tearing up his knee. He's ready to go and prove why he was projected as a high draft pick. And third, I've heard that 2cnd round pick Jernigan is a natural tackle with strength, power, speed, and natural instincts. Yeah, all these six players are going to stop the run this year. Bet on it.

Defense should be more stout. Back end (secondary) looks like it should be coming together. I like the addition of Mosely to the LB Corps. Defensive line looks to be improved. Not a defense full of stars to be sure - BUT - a lot of B players and some B+ guys coming into their own. It looks like a solid group on paper.

Well, you could be right, but then I'm sure there are people in every NFL city saying the same thing about their guys.   The fact is, until they prove they can do it in the NFL I wouldn't bet on it.  Every year I've heard about the "next superstar" and more often than not, it never materializes.  When these guys do it, I'll believe it.

Not sure how you call any of those three a given based on their recent output and the fact they're a year older.  I do like the young defense we're building, but without a return to form by those three veterans, I just don't see run stopping as the team's major strength. I hope at least 2 of the 3 do return to form, because if that happens this will be a very good defense.
