Jimenez has been placed on the DL after (supposedly) stepping in a hole in the parking lot and injuring his ankle. Gausman has been recalled and will start one of the games this weekend.

Thank you, hole in the parking lot.

But more than likely, thank you Buck and Dan for some more craftiness.

Take a look at the Yank$ current rotation:

Kuroda

McCarthy

Phelps

Greene

Whitley

I don't care what anybody says, that's funny.

Pretty funny, Roberts hits one out first time back at Camden.

Not so funny, Suzuki lining a double down the RF line on the next pitch.

I don't miss Mr. .246 Roberts.

I thought Gausman was up already. When did he go down? He had pitched well as I recall.

I also thought he was with the ml club, but found out different when I checked Britt's twitter feed on the news about Ubaldo.

Well, good for Miguel for getting out of that little jam there.

Still 2-0 Yanks.

I got a new job and haven't been able to follow the team as closely as I usually do.

There are graceful exits and there are not-so-graceful ones

Between the flub on Jones' bouncer and not running out the liner (?) to Hardy, Mr. Derek Jeter isn't going prettily into that good Yankee night of legendarium. (Loved Buck's comment about that.)

I've always kinda not minded Jeter.

Oh, well, whatever embarassments he's experiencing in this last lope around the AL, I'm sure they'll be soothed by the company of yet another supermodel.

EDIT: Kuroda has worse control than Nuke Laloosh on quaaludes.

Interesting way to score two runs... we'll take it.

Well done on the Sac Fly C. Davis, thought he was gonna go down chasing another split finger in the dirt

Hit him on purpose, good.

Tie game in the 7th definitely not the time to throw at somebody but looked like he did right??

Still a lot to be paid back from Sabathia ending Markakis season in 2012.  Still think Os would have beaten Yanks in playoffs with Nick in lineup.

I thought he hit him on purpose. 2 outs, no one on base, guy homered before, Kuroda hit 2 O's, adds up to me. Edited by Jimmy Jazz
