If I were still a drinking man, I'd take a shot anytime Bordick uses some form of the word "success".

This is probably their best lineup at the moment.

Waiting for Lombardozi

I love it when he says "over-boogied"

Gonzo off to a very solid start.

11 pitches in the first inning.

You get that one every so often.

He just "success"-ed twice in about two seconds!

Went from looking like a good quick inning to not so good.

Is that a bicycle combination lock around Pearce's neck?

Paxton just walked one of the worst hitters in the league.

We've been facing some great pitching but we need to find a way to score. The schedule makers did us no favor but we've hung in there so far with some great pitching.

This is the most frustrating offensive team I've ever seen. Long prolonged slumps.

You can't count on any of them .

Cruz continues to blow.

His at bat in the first inning with Manny on third was atrocious.  If I'm Jim Presley I tell him to take until he gets a strike for a while.

Looking like another snooze-fest by the offense.

I wonder when they'll bench Davis and Cruz for the same game.

I'd like to see what the opposition ERA has been for these games, compared to its overall ERA.

Its almost like the coaches and front office (and fans) are just sitting around waiting for the offense to suddenly breakout.

But at this point its possible it just doesn't happen which is incredibly alarming. If the pitching starts to falter then we're in big trouble.

I'm not sure what they're waiting for.

It's pretty much the same fairly punchless offense from the second half of last season, plus Cruz, who has become useless.

Some blame has to be placed on the coaches/ Jim Presley. I'm sure Buck's loyalty thing will keep him around but maybe they could find a way for him to severely twist his ankle in the parking lot or get the flu for the rest of the season.
