For the Orioles
Nick Markakis RF
Manny Machado 3B
Adam Jones CF
Nelson Cruz LF
Delmon Young DH
J.J. Hardy SS
Chris Davis 1B
Caleb Joseph C
Jonathan Schoop 2B

Miguel Gonzalez RHP

For the Blue Jays
Jose Reyes SS
Melky Cabrera DH
Jose Bautista RF
Dioner Navarro C
Juan Francisco 1B
Danny Valencia 3B
Colby Rasmus CF
Ryan Goins 2B
Anthony Gose LF

J.A. Happ LHP

Happ has been quietly stellar for the Jays since the All-Star break, allowing just three earned runs over his last three starts. In a June 15 start against Baltimore, his only start against the O's this season, he allowed seven hits and a run while fanning six over six frames.

If the O's take yet another series, they will have earned it with Happ on the mound.

I wonder when the Jays expect Encarnacion to return. He has a great presence in that lineup.

Pretty small sample size overall but Cruz is 4 for 5 against Happ and Jones is 6 for 13

Markakis is 4 for 13

I guess Cruz starts in LF because Happ is a lefty.

Wouldn't mind seeing Lough in there.

How much worse could he do?

Happ throws fastballs 73% of the time.  I would hope that bodes well for O's hitters.

Those were probably all before he began to suck.

Damn -- I turned away, then turned back to see the ball go over the fence, only to find out it's just a double.

Good stuff Caleb. I was gonna freak out if they stranded another no out double.

Really liking this current version of Joseph.

He's been hitting at a ~.350 clip the last 10 games or so. Nice to see. If he keeps it up, I'll have to revisit the 'do I miss Wieters?' thread.
