Davis, Jones, and Cruz need to step up here.

I don't like this lineup. I think that when you are down two solid hitters like Machado and Hardy you know that runs are going to be tough to come by. So, why not field a stronger defense and put the everyday third baseman - Phelps at 3rd and Davis at 1st? Davis is very solid defensively.

I guess they want the triple A guy to settle in before throwing him to the wolves but Davis is just not a third baseman.

That was a great lesson on how to flail from the top of the lineup.

These guys on ESPN talking about Girardi putting Betances in the 6th inning like he just split the atom.  It's really not that difficult a call guys, he wants to win the game so he puts his best bullpen guy in to pitch the 6th and 7th inning.  One inning earlier than usual... Wow, what a genius he must be.

The ESPN guys are going to talk about that interference call clear into next season...good grief, they are crying like little school girls.

I like this crew of Sutcliffe and these other guys and feel like they do a pretty balanced job, but I'm sure they have a quota they have to meet in regards to Pro-Yankee and Jeter comments.

"Where was that breaking ball??"   It was a foot low and outside but good looking out.

Maybe network called the booth and told these guys to start pulling for the Yankees a little more
