Sale is putting up some absolutely ridiculous numbers this season. I would be very happy if the O's could fine a way to take this one.

IP 130

H 91

BB 24

SO 150

WHIP 0.885

Crazy good.

Not sure I've ever seen a WHIP so low for a starter.

This is going to be no cake walk as we're facing two of their best starters this week.

I'm encouraged by two Davis hits to the opposite field yesterday.

Meanwhile, Schoop has three homers and five RBIs in his last five games.

Sale will be tough but this is the best lineup we can put out there right now and I like that Davis is still hitting 7th. If Norris brings his A game we got a shot.

How odd ... A first round pitcher who's not a bust!

I want to say something but because it would be redundant I won't.

I wasn't gonna say anything either, however... Maybe when they get a couple guys on base in the first inning with no outs they should try something different.  How bout just try and move the runners over and at least try and scratch out 1 run.  Its better than what generally ends up happening and scoring zero.

Davis looked like he was trying to go to left right there.

It's pretty much the only way they know how to score. Runners on base, no outs, pitcher on the ropes, nada.

Davis with some leather tonight at 3B. As long as Norris and the D can hold them to no runs we have a chance.

Two more innings. I'm feeling confident tonight.
