It's interesting that we're facing Arrieta and Wada this weekend.  Both have done well this year, and while I hope they continue to do well in their careers, this series is not included in that wish.

avoid pitching to Rizzo, and I guess Baez, and the O's should be good to go.

This has four or five hitless innings to start the game written all over it.

God that last swing by Davis on the K was ugly. He was so late he had to try to snap the bat with his wrists just to try to catch up with it.

He brings the bat back before starting at the ball, at least on that swing.

That's seems ill-advised.

I don't like that at all and have said so on here. Lots of guys have a little bit of a rearward 'loading' motion, but Davis is excessive imo. Combine that with his often exaggerated uppercut and you have a very loopy and fundamentally horrible swing that has way too much wasted motion. I hope he figures things out, but imho I don't think he will until he fixes his swing.

Arrieta with a hit. That's what happens when you get behind 3-0.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Arrieta throw a no-no with 12 Ks today.

The kids are alright.

This was not a tough prediction.

Pretty sure catcher is blocking the plate.

You might be right, but they'll blow it.

Pretty sure catcher is blocking the plate.

Maybe not.  That hurts.  Really needed that run.
