Even before Pearce got injured, I wasn't sold on the idea of making a world series push with what we had at First and Third.  Mainly because of the options behind Pearce and Davis.  I mean Flahrety and Paredes is all we got!  Seriously?  So it's all on two guys that are playing somewhat out of position and are prone to epic slumps.  Yeah they are both playing well defensively at the moment, Pearce is on fire with the bat, and even Davis is showing signs of coming around.  But what do we have if one of them gets hurt or goes into an epic slump at the end of Sept?  Nothing.  Absolutely nothing.  I say we push all the chips in and trade Bundy for Beltre.  Make Texas pick up 6 mil of the 34 mil owed Beltre and that brings his 2015/2016 salary more in the O's range.  It's all about this year.  This our chance to grab the ring.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat, but I wonder if the Rangers would.

Yeah it might take more.  Add either Buck Britton or the kid Dorsch.  Both third baseman.

Beltre has already cleared. I'm not sure about those on the Orioles side.

Yeah you are right about Beltre.  He cleared waivers at least two weeks ago which is the hard part.  On our side I think players not on the 40 man roster can be traded without waivers or maybe they have to be the dreaded PTBNL.  Bundy I'm not sure how he could be moved.  Didn't think about it, but he is on 40 man roster.  Maybe PTBNL in November when things open up again???  I see we have two openings now on the 40 man roster so I really think Duquette is going to make a move at the deadline for another role player. .  Beltre is probably a pipe dream.

Bundy wouldn't clear waivers

Buck Britton is a 28 year old AA player. Notwithstanding the rare example of Caleb, I don't see him having much of any value in a trade.
