2 threads last night and none tonight. I think complacency is setting in until playoff time.

Anyone else noticed Davis has actually been hitting the last week or so?

yeap. He picked the right time to get hot.

And Jonathan Schoop is putting it together as well.

Big-time.  He's making better contact even on outs.

And then he swings 3-0 and a weak grounder results.  The pitcher wanted nothing to do with him, better to take the walk.

ESPN is still showing Yankees-Red Sox games.

Why?  Does anyone really care?

Yea that as a bad decision. Looked like Ball Four

On the other hand, they're winning and Gonzo is rolling.  Just don't let O'Day face a lefty again and all will be well.

Such a joke.  They were trying to hype the game up earlier on SportsCenter talking about the 'rivalry' and Jeter retirement etc.  Gimme a break.  The media has already worn out the Jeter farewell tour.  I'll start paying attention to that again maybe the last day or two of the season.

I used to say that by 2016 Schoop will be giving us 20 to 25 home runs a year. I now think he's going to have at least a couple of seasons with 30+ homers. He's only 22.

Tremendous upside with this guy

I guess the game that matters is Detroit-Cleveland but I'm not sure what kind of rating s that would get nationally.

Risky tag there by Johnson with a man already moving to third and less than two outs but it worked.

Davis' glove on the other hand seems to be regressing.  Hopefully just temporarily

That error is probably prevents Gonzo from a complete game.

Can't believe they didn't send that guy.  Glad they didn't, think he would have made it home easily.
