Who Went To Any of The Nats Games in Baltimore?

7 posts in this topic

For those who went to the game, I had a couple of questions.

If you don't mind, can you answer?

Thanks.

1)  Were there a lot of Nats fans there?

-How many, what % would you say?

2)  Was this the normal amount of fans the Nats bring?

-If not, what is?

3)  How did the turnout of Nats fans in Baltimore compare to when the O's are in Washington?

-Do the Nats bring a similar or nowhere close to the same amount?

4) How does the turnout of Nats fans in Baltimore compare to when the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, or Tigers/Blue Jays/Pirates etc are in town?

5)  On TV, it looked and sounded like there were a few, but not many.  Certainly not what Baltimore brings to Washington, nor what the Yankees or Red Sox bring.  Heck, it wasn't even close to a sell out.

So why?

It's not like Orioles fans were scooping up the tickets.

Was it because it was a weeknight?

Is it as simple as, all Nats fans live in metro DC and saw no point in driving up during the weeknight; whereas O's fans who go to Washington are actually locals from MD; and many Yankee and Red Sox fans are actually living in the Baltimore area?

Yesterday for dinner, I grabbed a turkey and Swiss from Subway, with of course Old Bay. Saw some old reruns of All in the Family.

Hope this is helpful.
