Yes.

Too bad Feed The Beast was cancelled. It casted David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess in the lead roles as Tommy Moran and Dion Patras.

The story featured Tommy and Dion as best friends who are struggling with their past and are looking forward to move on. Tommy loses his wife with whom he had dreamt to open a restaurant while his friend Dion comes out of prison and owes $600,000 debt to mafia boss nicknamed the Tooth Fairy. The story follows a great deal of betrayal, backstabbing, manipulation and most dangerous situations imaginable.

Sort of like Friends meets The Sopranos...

I was so pissed when I heard it was cancelled.

Narcos is a great piece of work.  And while a little bit of artistic license is taken of course, for the most part the overall plot and series of events mirrors with what really happened.  Some of the cartel vs. cartel stuff of season 2 is artistic assumption, but the govt. vs. cartel aspect is very much spot on.

I think Netflix still has The Killing online too... great series.

Fargo and The Leftovers are must-see as well...

Excellent season premiers of two new shows:

  • Queen Sugar
  • Quarry

Both are intense. No spoilers from me...check 'em out!  ;)

It was pretty good, I thought, with the exception of Sturgess's acting.  He was completely cliche and dreadful.

I'll vouch for The Strain, Stranger Things(wow that was great), and Fear the Walking Dead(slow start this season, but getting good again).

Saw 2nd episode of Quarry. It has a little Fargoesque flavor with its unexpected left & right turns.

Queen Sugar & Greenleaf are NAILING Black Drama.

Season finale of The Haves and The Have Nots was a head-turner.

Season premier of If Loving You Is Wrong started off with a BANG!

The Strain is off to a great start

The new season of American Horror Story looks interesting so far. I've gotta wait a few more episodes before judging it

I watched the first episode of Pitched last night. The story is the first female major leaguer. Great back story. Features all the real life sports reporters and announcers. Could have been real cheesey, but I think they did a good job with it.

  • Designated Survivor - riveting! (No spoilers from me, but highly recommended)

  • Quarry - not addictive, but worth a good look

Quantico - missed Season 1, but S-2 covers similar themes of The Last Ship and Designated Survivor

Queen Sugar - high-quality drama worthy of a seasonal award or two...VERY good!

Too Close to Home - a Tyler Perry version of a Fargo-type season with mostly White actors - and NO Madea. Very ambitious. (Synopsis: Struggling White woman from a hick town lands a good job at the White House as the President's assistant. An affair with the President ensues, but in the course of an encounter the President suffers a heart attack and is found laying naked on his office floor. The 1st Lady [Heather Locklear] vows to ruin her life and there is speculation of foul play by White House security. Adulteress decides to return incognito to her trailer-park family as complications with family ensue) Episode 7 - Oct. 3 on TLC
