The Strain is off to a great start

The new season of American Horror Story looks interesting so far. I've gotta wait a few more episodes before judging it

I watched the first episode of Pitched last night. The story is the first female major leaguer. Great back story. Features all the real life sports reporters and announcers. Could have been real cheesey, but I think they did a good job with it.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It has a nice sound to it

Suggs has signed. I've never been so happy to be wrong

Don't blame me, I voted Bob Barr:cool:

  • Designated Survivor - riveting! (No spoilers from me, but highly recommended)
  • Quarry - not addictive, but worth a good look
  • Quantico - missed Season 1, but S-2 covers similar themes of The Last Ship and Designated Survivor
  • Queen Sugar - high-quality drama worthy of a seasonal award or two...VERY good!
  • Too Close to Home - a Tyler Perry version of a Fargo-type season with mostly White actors - and NO Madea. Very ambitious. (Synopsis: Struggling White woman from a hick town lands a good job at the White House as the President's assistant. An affair with the President ensues, but in the course of an encounter the President suffers a heart attack and is found laying naked on his office floor. The 1st Lady [Heather Locklear] vows to ruin her life and there is speculation of foul play by White House security. Adulteress decides to return incognito to her trailer-park family as complications with family ensue) Episode 7 - Oct. 3 on TLC

Mr Robot is wonderful.  Black Mirror makes you think.

Saw a few episodes of Black Mirror, pretty good stuff.  Twilight Zonish...

Another English show we love is The Detectorists. It should still be on Netflix.

I've started watching the 1st season of 'The Expanse'. So far it has been good but a bit hard to follow. It has multiple plot lines but they're converging about half way through the season.

Chad L. Coleman from TWD is in it.

Years ago, I stumbled onto a bonanza. I now have a digital copy of every season of MST3K, Dark Shadows, Doctor Who (original series), Star Trek & its spinoffs, Tales From The Darkside, Tales From The Crypt, The Twilight Zone (original & remake), The Outer Limits (original & remake), Kojak, Columbo, Mission Impossible, The Avengers, The Wire, Banshee, Suits, WWE/WCW Monday Nitro (every episode), and WWE Wrestlemania (all 32 events)...among others.

I watched the first four or five episodes of Mr. Robot, but I could not get into it. I gave up on it.

Has anyone watched the Pilot for the new show Emerald City?

It looks like the Wizard of Oz meets Game of Thrones

Watched my first one the other night with my son, he's a fan .....

We watched white christmas, had the wife quote puzzled .....

Definitely twilight zone-ish, told him that .....
They've got a name for the winners in the world
I want a name when I lose
They call Alabama the Crimson Tide
Call me Deacon Blues
~WB & DF

FairTax - because the Government shouldn't use the tax code to pick the winners and losers ........

Nope. I use a VPN, and also PeerBlock , but Verizon threatens to terminate any subscriber who uses Usenet. I won't risk it. I like FIOS.

Just be patient with it in the beginning. There are three separate plot lines and in the beginning it looks like they have nothing to do with each other. Give them time to develop. It is definitely worth it.
